2017 CSi Boot Camp

Calling all information technology and security technology students!

Students from all Minnesota State colleges and  institutions are invited to participate in the 2017 CSi Boot Camp hosted by Advance IT Minnesota. This is an intense 5 day student engagement, with hands-on learnings from IT industry leaders, using real-world security and forensic tools and tactics to identify and thwart cybersecurity threats.

CSi Boot Camp participants will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders, recruiters and visit local Fortune 500 companies for a real-world experience with an innovative security team.  On the last day of camp, students will receive a comprehensive assessment to validate your week-long cyber security skills development and training.

1:30 pm to 4:15 pm | Hands-on Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment

Brett DeWall, CliftonLarsonAllen [CE 230] – Students will get hands on experience with using penetration testing tools and review the phases or a penetration test. Students will be provided with a Kali Linux laptop and will target several vulnerable systems.
